About EMK

EMK is the creation of Winnipeg designer, Erin May Kembel.

Erin Kembel, born and raised in Winnipeg, started her very own clothing business (EMK) over 20 years ago. Erin saw a lot of cheap throwaway fashion, and knew that every woman should have quality, locally made pieces at a fair price. Her belief is that "Women of all shapes and sizes should feel beautiful...because they are!".

Erin's gorgeous line of comfortable, ethical clothing is available in studio, online, at local artisan shows and at various fashion retailers across Canada. All products are designed and handmade in Winnipeg MB, with generous and inclusive sizing (XS - 4X). Each seasonal collection is made using ultra-cozy bamboo jersey and terry fabrics and includes everyday basics, versatile pieces for layering and stylish designs that are both comfortable and trendy.

EMK Everyday is an affordable, handmade alternative to fast-fashion that uses high-quality, certified ethically-sourced bamboo and quality manufacturing to create sustainable, everyday garments that last!
